La Brigada Callejera de Apoyo a la Mujer, "Elisa Martínez", A.C., inició este nuevo año, la Campaña de recaudación de fondos "Juntos trabajando, en una atención digna de las mujeres", que tiene por objeto captar recursos económicos para construir sus nuevas instalaciones en la Ciudad de México, dado que el terremoto del 19 de septiembre de 2017, dañó estructuralmente el edificio donde en la actualidad se encuentran sus oficinas centrales y centro comunitario.

El blog para donantes y otras acciones de fortalecimiento institucional de la Brigada Callejera, en materia de gobernanza interna, finanzas y seguridad, es posible gracias al apoyo de HIP - OAK.

Brigada Callejera tiene como misión la erradicación de las causas estructurales que generan el comercio sexual para que esta actividad no sea la única estrategia de sobrevivencia y para que las mujeres y otras personas más susceptibles a la discriminación se valgan por sí mismas y superen los obstáculos culturales que les impiden movilizarse contra la trata de personas y prevenir la transmisión del VIH e ITS.

Somos una organización civil sin fines de lucro que lleva trabando 30 años en la República Mexicana, en la prevención del VIH e ITS, embarazos no planeados, prevención de trata de personas. Contamos con un protocolo de atención que por su complejidad nos han solicitado la capacitación de servicios gubernamentales, así como otras organizaciones que se preocupan por el bienestar de las mujeres. Nacimos en un contexto de preocupación ante la no atención de un sector de mujeres que nadie escucha, nadie atiende y que muchos quisieran que no existieran, constituido por más de 800 mil mujeres en México, de las cuales la cuarta parte son menores de 18 años.

Actualmente nos enfocamos en tres ejes:Salud, educación y acompañamiento.

El propósito de esta campaña de recaudación de fondos, es que al finalizar el año, la Brigada Callejera cuente con los recursos suficientes para iniciar actividades en su nuevo centro comunitario, que se ubicará a unas calles de Donceles y Allende, centro histórico, Alcaldía Cuauhtémoc, Ciudad de México.

The Street Brigade's mission is the eradication of the structural causes that generate the sex trade so that this activity is not the only survival strategy and so that women and other people more susceptible to discrimination use themselves and overcome cultural obstacles that prevent them from mobilizing against human trafficking and preventing the transmission of HIV and STIs.

We are a non-profit civil organization that has been working for 30 years in the Mexican Republic, in the prevention of HIV and STIs, unplanned pregnancies, prevention of human trafficking. We have a care protocol that, due to its complexity, has requested the training of government services, as well as other organizations that care for the well-being of women. We were born in a context of concern about the lack of attention of a sector of women that nobody listens to, nobody attends and that many would like to not exist, constituted by more than 800 thousand women in Mexico, of which a quarter are under 18 .

Currently we focus on three axes: Health, education and accompaniment.

The purpose of this fundraising campaign is that at the end of the year, the Street Brigade has enough resources to start activities in its new community center, which will be located a few streets from Donceles and Allende, historic center, Alcaldía Cuauhtémoc , Mexico City.
